The Harcourt Collection, owned by Rick & Judy Zolt in collaboration with select carpet manufactures in the Far East and Europe, are a carpet and rug distribution company that partners with strategically handpicked group of retail carpet stores across the U.S. and Europe.

For decades, Rick Zolt was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Stark Carpet Corporation. He continually sought out and implemented the best methods to introduce an ongoing variety of products to the company, in addition to managing the company’s distribution Logistics. With his vast knowledge of the carpet and rug industry, Rick moved to J.D. Staron and shared his expertise and creativity with the Staron team. Now at the helm of Harcourt Collection, Rick is enthusiastic and eager to introduce his innovative and exciting new collections to the “Harcourt retail partners” across the company. Rick having manufactured binding for Chatalbash by Costikyan several years ago is excited to pick up where he left off and continue manufacturing the same premium cotton binding as well introducing our new exciting Indoor and Outdoor Binding Collection.

For 25 years, Judy Zolt owned and operated the Designer Referral Service which matched homeowners in the Tri-State area with qualified Interior Designers and Architects. In the past decade, Judy was the co-owner of J.D. Staron. Presently, Judy is enthusiastic and motivated to join Rick in growing and expanding the new Harcourt Collection as well as the new 5 Star Binding company.

5 Star Binding is managed by Ron Chatalbash a third generation Oriental Rug dealer and carpet supply distributer. Ron owned and operated Chatalbash Rug Co of NY in downtown Manhattan for over 25 years and managed Chatalbash by Costikyan, 5 Star Textile Products and Magic Touch Restoration for the last 10 years.
